Basic Pinto Beans

  • 2C. Dry Pinto Beans
  • 3 Garlic Cloves
  • ½ Yellow Onion
  • to taste Salt

Instructions

Wash pinto beans and check for pebbles. Soak beans overnight or at least 3-4hours with the garlic cloves. Smash the garlic to break it open.

Add beans and soaking water to large pot. Add the half of onion. Chopped or whole.

Turn to high heat till boiling. Turn heat down to medium and boil till desired firmness. Add salt to taste.
